Big Game Format- The Big Game format we use is our own invention. The object of
the game is to control the flag and earn points. It's a continuous play format broken into
30 minute segments. Every 5 minutes, whichever team controls the flag earns 20 points. Every
player elimination is worth 1 point. When you're eliminated, you must exit at the chrono
station, chrono your marker to ensure safety, and then you may re-enter the game at your
team's starting position. You may re-enter as many times as you like while play continues.
At the end of the game, whichever team has the most points wins.
The flag is located at the center of the field. Players may not cross the center line
so re-entry is always possible. One team can not dominate the entire field. Since players
can not cross the center line, this game format is ideal for newer players. The only way
to get shot at close range is to be at the center of the field. If you're not willing to risk
being shot at close range, you simply don't get that close to the center of the field.
Tournament Format- We will play 5-man tournaments with center flag rules. To end the game, you must
grab the flag from the center of the field and hang it at your opponents starting box. Points are awarded
for each elimination, each surviving team member, pulling the flag and hanging the flag. The team at the
end of the tournament with the most points wins.
Pickup Elimination Format- The game is started with two teams, each at opposite sides of the field.
The first team to eliminate all players from the opposing team wins the game.
