The Uwharrie Charter Eagles, ranked 20th in the state, have soared through their season with an impressive 26-6 overall record.

In a commanding performance during Game 3 of the regional series last week, the Eagles dominated Mount Airy with a 12-0 victory, securing their ticket to the state finals this week. Northside-Pinetown Panthers: A Force to Be Reckoned With

The Northside-Pinetown Panthers, holding the 31st spot in state rankings, boast a commendable 22-6 overall record.

The Panthers emerged victorious in the nail-biting Game 3 of their regional series against East Wake Academy last week. In a closely contested battle, they clinched the win with a final score of 4-1. Brandon Arthur was stellar on the mound, pitching six innings and allowing just one earned run while racking up 13 strikeouts. Arthur's season tally now stands at 105 strikeouts, underscoring his dominance and making it clear why opponents have found it tough to score against him.
