Garner Trojans: Dominating the Field

The Garner Trojans are riding high with an impressive 26-2 overall record, securing their spot as the top-ranked team in North Carolina.

Recent Game Overview

In a thrilling third game of the regional series against Wake Forest, the Trojans clinched a 3-2 victory, earning their ticket to the state championship game. Claire Herman and Gabriela Mizelle were instrumental in this win. Herman, going 1-for-4, scored a run and stole two bases. Mizelle, on fire recently, went 2-for-5, scoring a run and swiping a base, marking her third consecutive game with at least one stolen base.

Weddington Warriors: A Season to Remember

The Weddington Warriors have also had a stellar season, boasting a 21-3 overall record and earning the number two rank in North Carolina.

In the second game of the regional series against Northwest Guilford, the Warriors dominated with a 10-3 victory, securing their path to the state championship game. Bel Varadi was a standout performer, pitching seven innings and allowing only one earned run off 11 hits. At the plate, Varadi shone even brighter, going 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored, and a stolen base.
