In a thrilling showdown on Wednesday, April 10th, South Meck (13-2) collided with Ardrey Kell (5-9) in a highly anticipated matchup. The Ardrey Kell Knights emerged victorious in a nail-biting finish, edging out South Meck by a single point with a final score of 6-5.

The game witnessed an intense back-and-forth, with Ardrey Kell initially relinquishing a 3-run lead in the top of the 7th, only to rally back with 2 runs in the bottom inning and clinch a dramatic walk-off win over South Meck.
The Knights showcased several standout performances that kept the Sabres on their toes throughout the evening. Pitcher Corbin Mickle delivered a phenomenal evening on the mound, facing 20 batters and striking out 6 over 4 innings of play.

Offensively, the Knights demonstrated a cohesive team effort at bat. Senior Michael Craft, Wingate commit, made a significant impact by scoring 3 runs while going 2 for 3 and driving in 1 RBI. Senior Jeremiah Powell also contributed with an RBI, going 2 for 2.
