Blue Devils Defeat Cox Mill

In a dominating performance, the Mooresville softball squad (11-0) shut out Cox Mill with a commanding 11-0 victory. The Blue Devils continue to showcase their prowess, holding strong at 2nd place in North Carolina and leading the Greater Metro 4A conference standings.

Pitcher Campbell Schaen has been a force to reckon with, boasting an impressive 10-0 record and a stellar 1.34 ERA, complemented by a whopping 90 strikeouts for the season thus far.


On the offensive front, Avrelle Harrell leads the charge with a scorching .444 batting average and 11 RBIs, while defensive stalwarts Maddie Colby, Macy Crum, and Cadence Lane have kept errors at bay, anchoring the team's solid defense.


Under the guidance of Coach Kikta, the Mooresville Blue Devils have enjoyed a highly successful season, marked by a strong sense of pride in the program. Following Tuesday night's triumph, Coach Kikta passionately exclaimed, "Bleed Blue!"

Cox Mill will face off against Hickory Ridge on Wednesday at 6:00 PM.



Next up, Mooresville softball is set to take on Mallard Creek (5-4) at 7:15 on Friday, poised to continue their winning streak and assert their dominance in the conference.
