Beating Weddington Warriors in Round 3

The Cougars emerged victorious with a 78-68 win over the Warriors in Round 3 of the 2024 NCHSAA Men's Basketball Championship Playoffs.

Tarris Bouie had a standout performance, scoring 40 points, his highest of the season. Maurio Hanson II contributed with 17 points and 16 rebounds to secure the win. With the help of these two outstanding athletes, Chambers continues to show-up for each other and for their fans. After winning 7 of their last 8 games, the Cougars are in their zone and ready for the next match-up.

Despite a strong offensive effort from Weddington, including KJ Younger's 23 points and eight rebounds, they fell short. Younger has been consistently scoring high with a streak of at least 18 points in four consecutive games.

Next, Chambers (22-8) will hit the road to face off against Lake Norman (27-2) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
