Cox Mill (3-0) made a strong statement on Tuesday night, suggesting they could be a contender in the Greater Metro 4 Conference this season.

The Chargers secured a notable victory on the road against defending 4A state champion T.C. Roberson (1-1), extending their record to 3-0. This marked T.C. Roberson's first loss in two games.

Mason Hill (Junior) was instrumental for Cox Mill, pitching shutout ball in the sixth and seventh innings. Senior Braylon Whitaker continues to be a high performer for the Chargers, accomplishing 2 singles and 2 hits, bringing his batting average to .625.
