Addison Peirce's Stellar Game

Christ the King (17-3) had no trouble against the raptors on Thursday to push them into the regional finals. They edged out the Mountain Island Charter Raptors (18-4) in a close 2-1 match. This victory marks Christ the King's 11th consecutive win.

Sophomore Addison Angela Peirce led Christ the King's offense, scoring both goals and bringing her season total to 24. Peirce has been on fire this season, she's only a sophomore but doesn't play like one. She's racked up a total of 24 goals and 13 assist this season.

This win also marked Christ the King's 7th straight victory on the road, improving their record to 17-3. Mountain Island Charter's loss ended their 6 game home winning streak, dropping their record to 18-4.

Next, Christ the King will face Polk County on the road at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Polk County will be aiming for their ninth consecutive win, but Christ the King won't make it easy for them. Unfortunately for Mountain Island Charter, their season is over.
