East Rowan Dominates St. Stephens

East Rowan (28-10) continued their dominant postseason run on Friday with a commanding 9-3 victory in the second round of the 2024 3A NCHSAA playoffs over St. Stephens (15-7), marking their 21st consecutive win and another huge confidence boost.

Sophomore superstar Harrison Ailshie played a starring role, going 3-for-3 with a home run, 3 runs, and 3 RBI's, while senior McCall Henderson also made significant contributions, going 2-for-4 with a home run, 3 RBI's, and a stolen base. Henderson has been on fire this season, earning a batting average of .459, an on base percentage of .575, a slugging percentage of .847, and a fielding percentage of .947.

With this win, East Rowan extended their remarkable record to 28-1, securing their 25th consecutive home win dating back to last season. Conversely, St. Stephens' record fell to 15-7 following the defeat, ending their 4 game streak of away wins.
