Farmville is After Another State Title

Farmville Central is a Powerful Force

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Farmville Central Jaguars had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Cougars when they took home a 74-54 win. Farmville Central has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 26 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Farmville Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Tyler Whitehurst contributed 13 points, while senior JD Daniels put up 12 points; both helping the Jaguars secure the win.

Another player consistently performing well for Farmville Central is junior "MJ" Williams. Williams has been averaging 15.7 points and 2.3 assists per game. With a roster full of top performers, the Jaguars have great potential for more playoff victories.

Can Farmville do it Again?

Farmville Central pushed their record up to 30-1 with that win, which was their 37th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.1 points. Farmville Central is now in the 2024 NCHSAA 2A State Finals where they hope to get back to back championship victories.

As for Goldsboro, their loss dropped their record down to 27-4. Farmville Central will challenge Reidsville on Saturday. Farmville Central has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 2,670 points over their last 31 games.
