Cox Mill Defeats Independance


Independence fought hard on Thursday, driving their score up to 11, but ultimately faced a tough 21-11 loss against the Cox Mill Chargers. This marks the second consecutive game that Independence has suffered a defeat by exactly 10 runs.

Despite the outcome, Gianna McCloud (So) showcased her batting prowess, reaching base in all 4 of her plate appearances with a home run, 4 RBIs, and 2 runs. Morgan Clark (Jr) also contributed significantly, going 2-for-4 with 2 runs, a triple, and a double.
