Union Pines Wins Again

Lee County faced a familiar outcome on Friday, falling once again to the Union Pines Vikings with a 6-3 loss. Despite their efforts, the Lee County Yellow Jackets couldn't overcome their previous defeat against Union Pines back in March.

Key Players

Pitcher Savanna Mullins (Sr) displayed resilience, pitching all 9 innings and conceding 3 earned and 3 unearned runs on 6 hits while striking out 7 batters. Mullins maintained her consistency with another strong performance, recording at least 6 strikeouts in every appearance this season.

Offensively, Lee County had contributions from multiple players, including Kallie Byrd (So), who hit a home run and went 1-for-4 at the plate.

Union Pines pitcher Kaitlyn Blue (Fr) showcased her skills, pitching an inning without conceding any earned

runs and limiting hits. At the plate, Elizabeth Andrews (Jr) impressed with a home run and 2 runs, while Trinity Whitt (Jr) added a stolen base, a double, and an RBI.
