Evans showcased his scoring skills with a season-high 48 points, lighting up the court with an electrifying display of skill and determination.The game reached a fever pitch during the third quarter, as Evans went on a remarkable scoring spree, netting an incredible 21 consecutive points to help propel the Vikings to a commanding lead. 

Although Myers Park staged a valiant comeback attempt, cutting the deficit to 63-50 in the final quarter, they were unable to surmount North Mecklenburg's imposing advantage. The rapid sellout of tickets for this highly anticipated matchup underscored the excitement and anticipation surrounding the game.

With North Mecklenburg (28-3) now set to face Lake Norman in the state semifinals, the team rides high on the momentum of their impressive victory, fueled by Evans' exceptional performance and the unwavering support of their fans.
