Panthers Playoff Success

In a tightly contested playoff game on Thursday, the Piedmont Panthers edged out the Crest Chargers, advancing to the next round of the 2024 NCHSAA Softball State Championships - 3A.

Several Panthers stepped up offensively to secure the victory. Bristol Outen went 1-for-2 with a crucial RBI and a double, while Reagan Loving contributed with a 1-for-3 performance, driving in two RBIs.

On the mound, Jailyn Thomas was dominant, pitching a complete game with seven strikeouts and allowing just one earned run on one hit. Thomas finished the night with an impressive 1.00 ERA, showcasing her pitching prowess.
