Reidsville Advances to the State Finals

Can Anyone Stop Reidsville?

In their pursuit of playoff success, the Reidsville Rams secured a hard-fought victory against the Hornets, clinching a 76-72 win on Wednesday to secure a spot in the 2024 2A NCHSAA men's basketball finals . With this win, Reidsville maintained their flawless season record, demonstrating their unchecked dominance on the court.


Highlighted in this victory were standout performances from Kendre Harrison and Johnniyus Sharpe. Harrison's commanding presence in rebounding was evident once again as he achieved yet another double-double, totaling an impressive 19 points and 19 rebounds. Sharpe contributed significantly to the team's offensive output with 21 points, further solidifying Reidsville's offensive strength.



Another significant player is Dionte Neal. While only being a sophomore, Neal manages to put up crazy stats. He averages 19.1 points per game, 15 rebounds, and 4.2 steals per game.


Reidsville's Winning Streak at Home


This win extended Reidsville's undefeated streak to 28-0 for the season, marking their 27th consecutive win at home dating back to last season. Their home court advantage has proven useful with an average winning margin of 28.2 points at home during this impressive streak.


Salisbury, on the other hand, saw their seven-game winning streak on the road come to an end, bringing their season record to 27-4.


Looking ahead, Reidsville prepares to defend their home turf once more as they face Farmville Central on March 16th at 7:00 p.m. Despite Farmville Central's strong offensive performances throughout the season, Reidsville remains confident to put on yet another commanding display.
