Rolesville Claims NCHSAA State Title

Rolesville Keeps the Streak Going

Rolesville continued their remarkable postseason run by clinching the 2024 Womens NCHSAA state championship title on Saturday against Charlotte Catholic. They secured a hard-fought 65-58 victory over the Charlotte Catholic Cougars, extending their winning streak to six consecutive wins in the playoffs.

Once again, Caitlyn Jones(Jr) showcased her dominance on the court, tallying an impressive 27 points along with 7 assists. Taliya Rowe(Jr) also made significant contributions with 8 points and 3 steals, further solidifying Rolesville's state champion performance.

On the Road Success

With this win, Rolesville not only claimed the state championship but also extended their unbeaten streak on the road to 9 games, elevating their season record to an impressive 27-5. On the other hand, Charlotte Catholic saw their 19-game winning streak at home, dating back to the previous season, come to an end, dropping their season record to 27-5.

As of now, Rolesville has concluded their season with no further scheduled games, basking in the glory of their state championship victory. Similarly, Charlotte Catholic also has no future games scheduled, reflecting on their season and the valiant effort they put forth.
