Kiker Adds Another Win
In a thrilling matchup, Metrolina Christian Academy (20-0), currently holding the top spot in the NICSAA Metrolina rankings, triumphed over Charlotte Christian (14-6) on Monday, April 15th.

Senior Landon Polk showcased his batting prowess, going 2-for-3 and scoring a crucial run for the Warriors. Fellow senior Connor Bellew also made his mark, going 1-for-2, scoring a run, and delivering an RBI hit.
The Warriors' offensive dominance extended beyond the plate, with several stolen bases adding pressure to the Knights' defense. Freshman Jacob Seamon led the charge with an impressive 3 stolen bases, while seniors Perry Hargett and Will Brooks contributed with 2 stolen bases each, keeping Charlotte Christian on edge defensively.
On the pitching mound, Chase Kiker delivered a masterful performance, shutting down Charlotte Christian's offense without allowing a single earned run and limiting them to just two hits. Kiker's stellar outing included an astounding ten strikeouts over seven innings, marking his sixth consecutive appearance with more than six strikeouts this season. With an impressive ERA of .15 over 47 innings pitched, Kiker has been a formidable force on the mound for Metrolina Christian Academy this year.
Looking ahead, Metrolina Christian Academy is set to face Gaston Day on Thursday at 5:00 PM, while Charlotte Christian will square off against Charlotte Latin on Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM in what promises to be another exciting matchup in high school baseball.
