In a thrilling matchup on Tuesday night, the High Point Christian Cougars (16-2) dominated the West Stokes Wildcats (15-4) with a commanding 12-2 victory. The Cougars' offense was on fire, led by standout performances from Hailey Allred, Maci Burkhart, and Blakely Bowman.



Allred was unstoppable at the plate, going 4-for-4 with 1 RBI and crossing the plate twice. Burkhart contributed significantly, going 2-for-3 with 3 RBI and a run scored. Meanwhile, Bowman showcased her prowess, going 3-for-4 with 2 RBI and scoring 2 runs. Both Bowman and Allred showcased their speed with two stolen bases each, adding a dynamic element to the Cougars' offense.


Adding to the excitement, Paisley Dixon crushed a home run, highlighting the Cougars' offensive dominance. On the pitching front, Dixon delivered an outstanding performance, throwing 6 innings with an impressive 1.17 ERA and recording 9 strikeouts. Her stellar pitching helped limit the Wildcats to just 2 runs for the game.




Looking ahead, the Cougars are gearing up to take on West Wilkes (14-0) on Monday, April 29th at 5:00 PM. This matchup promises to be intense as the Cougars aim to continue their winning streak against the undefeated Blackhawks, who are ranked 3rd on the County Sports USA Power Rankings.
