Trent Lowe Continues To Dominate His Opponents

West Davidson (18-7) continued their dominant streak with a convincing 11-1 victory over the Salisbury Hornets (14-11) on Tuesday, marking their 14th blowout win of the season. The win extended West Davidson's winning streak to 2 games.


Mason Miller who is only a sophomore, delivered an exceptional performance on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over 5 innings pitched. Miller currently leads West Davidson in triples this season with a total of 3.



Sophomore Carson Michael and Junior Thomas Hester led the charge on offense for West Davidson. Michael scored 3 runs, stole a base, and reached base in all 4 of his plate appearances, while Hester contributed 2 runs, going 2-for-3 at bat.


West Davidsons real playmaker is their senior standout Trent Lowe. He continues to make significant contributions game after game. Against the Hornets, he drove in 3 runs with a 1-for-2 performance. Currently Lowe has a batting average of .542, an on base percentage of .692, and he is leading the team in RBI's with 39.



With this victory, West Davidson improved their record to 18-7. On the other hand, Salisbury's defeat ended their five-game streak of away wins, bringing their record to 14-11.


As of now, neither West Davidson nor Salisbury have any future games scheduled.
